Finn Clarke is screen composer and fiddle player from Tasmania, Australia.

Finn’s work explores experimental violin textures, gritty electronics, and lush orchestral writing.

His music has been recognised twice at the Australian Screen Music Awards, winning Best Soundtrack Album in 2025 and receiving a nomination for Best Music for an Advertisement in 2024. His credits include The Raftsmen (Prime), The Platypus Guardian (PBS), I'm So Sorry for Your Loss (ABC Australia) and additional music for True South (with Elena Kats-Chernin) and Moonbird (with Joy Music House).

Finn completed his master's degree in Screen Scoring at the USC Thornton School of Music. His studies were supported by the Ian Potter Cultural Trust and the $95k Brian May Scholarship, and he received the Joe and Alice Harnell Scholar for Screen Scoring Award upon graduation.


Alongside his composing work, Finn co-founded the Tasmanian Media Composers Collective and serves as a board member of the not-for-profit Apple Box Studio.

In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, windsurfing, and petting cats.
